Configure Your Church Website

BlessChurch allows you to create a complete church website using the information and identity already saved in your account.

Before you begin

Make sure your church settings include:

  • Church name and logo
  • Primary and secondary colors
  • Address and contact information
  • Service times
  • Social media links
  • Giving URL

1. Open the Website module

  1. Sign in to BlessChurch.
  2. Select Website from the application menu.
  3. Open the Home settings.

2. Configure the Hero section

The Hero is the first section visitors see. Add a clear headline, a short church message, and a large cover image.

You can also configure buttons for planning a visit and watching your church online.

3. Add the Welcome section

Use this section to introduce your church, explain its mission, and help visitors understand what they can expect.

Select a welcome image that represents your congregation or community.

4. Review service and contact information

BlessChurch uses your church settings to display your address, service information, phone number, and directions.

If this information is incorrect, update it under Settings.

5. Add events and ministries

Upcoming events are loaded automatically from the Events module. Ministries appear when they have been configured and published.

You do not need to enter the same information twice.

6. Configure Watch Live

Enable the Watch Live section and add your public YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo, or custom livestream URL.

For YouTube, we recommend using the permanent channel livestream URL so it does not need to be replaced every week.

7. Configure online giving

Add your public giving URL and enable the Give section. Never enter private Stripe credentials or livestream keys into a public URL field.

8. Preview and publish

  1. Save your changes.
  2. Open the website preview.
  3. Review the desktop and mobile versions.
  4. Confirm that every button and link works.
  5. Publish your website when it is ready.

Helpful tip

Use large, high-quality photographs with good lighting. Images of real people and church activities normally feel more welcoming than generic stock photography.
