Understand the Difference Between Feedback and Support
On this page 10 sections
BlessChurch includes separate Feedback and Support areas because product suggestions and technical problems require different workflows.
Use Feedback for ideas
Use Feedback when BlessChurch is working as designed but you want to recommend an improvement.
Examples:
- Requesting a new feature
- Suggesting an additional website section
- Recommending a workflow improvement
- Sharing an idea for a report or integration
- Providing general product comments
Use Support for problems
Use Support when something is broken, unavailable, incorrect, or preventing you from completing a task.
Examples:
- You cannot sign in
- An event does not save
- A member record displays incorrect information
- Stripe does not connect
- The public website produces an error
- A module you should have access to is missing
How to submit Feedback
- Sign in to BlessChurch.
- Select Feedback from the application menu.
- Describe the idea or improvement.
- Explain the problem the suggestion would solve.
- Submit the feedback.
Write useful product feedback
A useful suggestion explains:
- What you are trying to accomplish
- How you handle it currently
- What makes the current process difficult
- What result you would like to see
- How often your church would use the feature
Example of useful feedback
We schedule several ministries in the same building. It would help us identify room conflicts if each event could include a selectable room and the Calendar could warn us when that room is already reserved.
How to submit a Support ticket
- Select Support.
- Create a new ticket.
- Use a specific subject.
- Describe the steps that caused the problem.
- Include the exact error message and a safe screenshot when helpful.
If you are unsure
Ask this question:
- Is BlessChurch working, but I want it to work differently? Use Feedback.
- Is BlessChurch failing to perform an existing function? Use Support.
Feature requests and timelines
Submitting feedback does not guarantee that a feature will be added or establish a delivery date. Requests may be evaluated based on security, usefulness, complexity, and benefit to other churches.
Do not include sensitive information
Neither Feedback nor Support should contain passwords, private payment credentials, livestream keys, verification codes, or unnecessary confidential member information.
Helpful tip
Describe the ministry need, not only the proposed button or screen. Understanding the underlying problem helps BlessChurch evaluate the most effective solution.
